Questions & Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

PPF (Paint Protection Film), often called a “Clear Bra,” is a high-grade thermoplastic polyurethane layer applied to your vehicle’s painted surfaces. It is the ultimate defense against rock chips, road debris, scratches, salt, and insects. It is a long-term investment that keeps your car looking brand
new and maximizes its resale value.

Yes! We use premium self-healing films. When exposed to heat (from the sun, an engine, or warm water), the top coat of the film flows back into its original state, making swirl marks and light scratches disappear automatically.

When professionally installed by Brilliant Wraps, the film is virtually invisible. We use precision computer-cut patterns and custom “tucked edges” whenever possible so that the film blends seamlessly with the body lines of your vehicle.

Our high-quality films are designed to last between 7 to 10 years. They are engineered not to yellow, crack, or peel, ensuring your vehicle stays protected for the long haul.

Vinyl is primarily used for styling and customization. It allows you to completely change the color or finish (matte, satin, gloss) of your car. While it provides a thin layer of protection against UV rays and minor abrasions, it is not designed to stop heavy rock chips like PPF does.

Absolutely! We offer partial wraps, such as “chrome deletes,” roof wraps (e.g., gloss black), or custom accents to give your vehicle a unique, personalized look.

A professionally installed vinyl wrap typically lasts 3 to 5 years, depending on how the vehicle is stored and maintained.

Beyond the sleek look and privacy, high-quality window tint blocks up to 99% of harmful UV rays. This protects your skin and prevents your interior (leather, plastic, wood) from fading or cracking. It also significantly reduces cabin heat, making your drive much more comfortable in the summer

We use advanced ceramic and carbon films that are non-metalized. This ensures zero interference with your GPS, cell phone reception, or radio signals.

We recommend waiting 3 to 5 days before rolling your windows down. This allows the adhesive to fully cure and ensures a perfect, bubble-free bond to the glass.

We recommend hand washing or using a touchless car wash. Avoid high-pressure sprayers too close to the edges of the film. For wraps, avoid automatic washes with brushes, as they can scratch the surface.

No. If the film is applied to a high-quality factory finish, it can be safely removed by a professional without leaving any residue or damaging the paint underneath.

Yes! At Brilliant Wraps, we stand behind our work.
We provide a manufacturer warranty on the materials and a shop warranty on the quality of the installation to ensure your total satisfaction.
